Who are we? Telugu Lahari is a community radio group based in Brisbane, Australia. This group was formed by a few families and friends with Telugu background and who are living in Brisbane. Group has an association with Radio 4EB FM 98.1, a community radio broadcasting station. Telugu Lahari has officially taken its initial step on 7th September 2005 by broadcasting its very first program in Telugu on Radio 4EB and introduced Telugu language to Brisbane Radio listeners for the first time.
Mission Statement The main aim of Telugu Lahari community radio group is to provide service to the Telugu people who are living in Brisbane by broadcasting Telugu radio programs on Radio 4EB FM 98.1 and also provide recognition service to Telugu language.
Telugu Group Telugu Lahari Group is made up of financial and non-financial members from families and friends of Telugu background. Group also has various other ethnic background people as members. They volunteer their work towards the community radio broadcasting by participating in activities organised by Telugu Lahari and Radio 4EB. We currently have a total of 62 financial members. |
